De Blasio Filmed Walking Away From Bakery Manager Who Pleaded For Help With Struggling Business

ew York City has arguably become one of the most dangerous places in America amid the “Defund the Police” movement.

Liberal Mayor Bill de Blasio has continued to side with criminals and those carrying out violence over the New York Police Department and business owners.

As another example of this, de Blasio was filmed walking away from a New York City baker pleading for help during the city’s economic downturn sparked by the coronavirus.

“We’ve been taking a hit since January. We lost our Chinese New Year, our busiest day of the year of our community. The most festive holiday that we have,” local bakery manager Patrick Mock told de Blasio.

“Then COVID happened,” he said. “Now, we’re all hurting so bad. What we need is people’s confidence.”

De Blasio then began to turn away, and someone in footage of the conversation can be heard saying, “It’s just a difference of opinion, that’s the bottom line.”

“We need help, we need more confidence,” Mock continued.

“That’s very unfortunate,” de Blasio said while turning his back on Mock.

Mock said after the exchange that the mayor “brushed me off,” adding that de Blasio was only in Chinatown for a “photo op mission.”

Cities and communities across the country have been damaged and destroyed as some protests have turned into riots.

The protests and riots began in Minnesota after video emerged of a now-former Minneapolis police officer kneeling on George Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes, leading to his apparent death.

New York City has arguably become a more dangerous place in America amid the “Defund the Police” movement.

Last week, three NYPD officers were violently attacked by “protesters” and left with serious injuries during a “Defund the Police” rally.

De Blasio also had a black woman arrested for defacing the Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower in New York City.

Bevelyn Beatty was seen pouring black paint over the bold, yellow letters Saturday. She was subsequently charged with criminal mischief, was given a desk appearance ticket, and released by authorities.

“They do it for black people, right? Black Lives Matter. Black Lives Matter but you want to defund the police for black people,” Beatty said in a video of her act. “No. They’re lying. We’re not standing with Black Lives Matter. We want our police. Refund our police! Refund our police!”

She could also be also seen crawling on her hands and knees to spread the black paint over the mural. Officers with the New York City Police Department then pulled her away from the mural.

Beatty is reportedly a member of Christian nonprofit organization At The Well Ministries.
